A HTTP 'cookie' is a small file stored on your computer. If you have javascript enabled, and your browser is not sending a 'Do Not Track' header, then we will set the HTTP cookies detailed below. We do this to learn about how often our site is visited and how it's used by using Google Analytics
Google provide an 'Opt-out Browser Add-on' for some popular browsers that claims to prevent your data from being used by Google analytics on any website. You can learn more and find details of this on Googles website
This is an option you can set in most web browsers, to ask websites not to track you. It's down to the website to honour this, and many seem to just ignore it. However, if you are sending a DNT header we actually do honour this and not set any cookies, and furthermore will delete any cookies that we have previously set. How cool are we - cool enough for you to whitelist us and allow us to set cookies perhaps!? :)
